[MS4W-Users] Intalling MS4W 3.1.4

[Vogt, Robert (RCIS)]

Apparently I'm missing "C:\ms4w\tools\mapserv\libmap.dll"

Does anyone know where I can get this?

Thanks for the help, I have MS4W installed and Apache web server running!!

My next question is, I was previously running MapServer in IIS from a site under Default Web Site named "mapserver"

I was calling mapServer and pointing it to my map files like so...

"http://SomeServerName/mapserver/mapserv.exe?map=E:/RCIS/Web/Mapfiles/someMapFile.map"

...and it would return the layers I was calling, how is this performed with MS4W with apache web server service?

...sorry for all the questions but I am new to this.

Yes, see the link on the homepage http://ms4w.com  That installer will setup Apache, MapServer, etc.

You might also want to review the documentation (installation steps) as well, before you begin: http://ms4w.com/documentation.html
