[MS4W-Users] Updates in Mapcache not appearing for some clients

Hello,

I updated my "Standard Background" MapCache layer with new air photos. I deleted all of the cached jpg files and cleared the cache on my browser. I can see everything fine, however I had someone mention that they see some of the updated pictures, but they can still see other outdated air photos in my MapCache service. I would like to see how I can get clients to see the new updated air photos in my MapCache service. Please let me know if you have any good ideas.

Options to get clients to see the new MapCache service:

* Request that the user clear out their browser cache. (not preferred)

* Rename my service from "Standard Background" to "Standard Background v 2017" or similar. (not preferred)

* Is there a way to have a browser refresh the cache automatically?

Thank you for any ideas as to how I can update my cache so that the service is still called "Standard Background"

Sincerely,
Mark Volz, GISP
Lyon County GIS Coordinator
